How do I achieve happiness?
I could look back on my whole life, and it was possible to find out why I was not happy. I could see all the minds that made me not delighted are altogether accumulated in my mind.

I was the person who longed for real happiness for my entire life. I always wanted to have unshakable peace deep inside my mind. However, I failed to keep my mind calm because of all the circumstances that I faced and my worries and regrets from the past. And the uncertainty of the future.

So I tried to read many self-help books and attended many seminars by famous inspirational speakers. But that advice and guidance couldn’t help me fundamentally because it was not easy for me to maintain the right manner because of my inclinations, habits, and fixed thoughts. It wasn’t until I found the meditation. I finally found something that worked for me. The meditation helped me change my behavior and my life.

What I have learned through the meditation is,

  1. I could look back on my whole life, and it was possible to find out why I was not happy. I could see all the minds that made me not delighted are altogether accumulated in my mind.
  2. I discarded the mind that I accumulated through my life one by one by using the meditation method. (It does not mean that I lost my memory from the meditation, but my emotional attachments disappeared.)

For example, I used to be afraid of people who were older than me. I felt uncomfortable when I was with my elders. And it was not easy for me to overcome. But I realized why I was afraid after I looked back on my life through the meditation method🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️; there is one vivid memory about my grandfather when I was young; at that moment, I made a critical mistake. It could have been caused my brother to be injured seriously. At that moment, my grandfather was really mad, and he scolded me. I couldn’t find that kind of trauma until I looked back on my mind. It has been buried within me for a long time.

And I discarded that mind and even other traumas about my elder relatives,

and amazingly🌈, after pitching all those minds diligently, I started to feel no more fear when dealing with elders. Not only that, as much as I discarded all the roots of my mind one by one, and as much as I have changed and have happiness within. And I started to feel lighter and wiser. And eventually, I could enlighten what my true self🌿 is.

In conclusion, I realized that I was not happy because I had accumulated all my negative experiences’ negative minds.

Through reflecting and discarding with the meditation method, I could understand why I was not happy and could discard those reasons, so now I am free from my mind and can have a calm, true mind within.
