What are the best tips for falling asleep without using sleeping pills when you have insomnia?
In my 20’s I tried many ways to fall asleep. This was because I became addicted to sleeping pills for 8 years. Often the only way I could fall asleep was by taking a sleeping pill and crying myself to sleep.

I took sleeping pills for 8 years and I managed to come off them! I hope the following tips can help soothe you into a better sleep.

Tips:

Ultimately, the root cause needs to be fixed. And meditation has the tool to fix it. Once I started throwing away my own thoughts and worries, I was able to sleep. Ultimately, this is the best way to sleep.

As I wrote this article, I ate a banana and had a Cacao drink to ease myself into sleep😊. The beauty is that I can still enjoy all the above methods as ways to fall asleep.
