What aspects of yourself do you think may be changed?
Every. Single. Aspect!
Let me start by saying this is not easy, and it’s not something I always believed was even possible. I thought I was so thoroughly broken, that I didn’t know where to start, and every time I tried to even start, that broken self stopped me in my tracks.
These days there’s hypnosis, NLP, therapy, psychology, meditation, medication (yuck!), electrical therapy (yuck!) – all sorts of things to “reprogram” the mind. But I needed a method for a complete overhaul – change from the ground up if I was going to change even 1 aspect. The method that touched my heart the most was meditation. It seemed natural, and I have all of the control and don’t need to rely on anyone but myself.
And I have completely transformed.
I mean that in every sense of the word! From being in a state of constant negativity, sadness, loneliness, depression and anger, to now being a state of constant positivity, happiness, connection, fullfillment and joy.
Now I can truly smile! From the heart, and with absolute joy. Before I was so afraid to even smile let alone show myself publicly. I had so much social anxiety from all the bullying I recieved. So much insecurity and inferiority!
Ahhhh my heart lights up just writing this. Everything that I was, was just the false self (ego). Truly changing yourself is about changing completely from that false self to your True Self. And when you are your True Self, every day is new. Every day you can change any aspect of yourself. Every day you are a new person. Every day you are changing. Every day it’s just so damn good to be alive!
