I don’t think I can meditate because I’m not feeling well
When you are severely ill, you will first need proper treatment and rest.
However, if you have been meditating steadily while watching “The Lecture of the Week,” you will naturally know that you are living in the mind world even at this moment and feeling unwell inside of there.

To put it simply, you are making a videotape with the content of being unwell inside the mind world and you are just the main character of the video.
When the realization that lived life is an illusion is not clear, people put their all efforts into changing the content of the videotape. Naturally, no matter how you change the content of the video in your mind, nothing really changes. Even though you put all your efforts into it, you could haven’t been make any change in reality.
However, people who enlightened that their remembered thoughts of lives are false in the process of discarding minds naturally do their best to get to the land of Truth as soon as possible through meditation rather than clinging to the contents of the videotape. You should know that’s the ultimate purpose of your meditation.
When you are feeling unwell, you may believe that such situation is real and only care to recover your body.
However, those who got the realization that they are living in their false mind worlds which overlap to the true world will not delay their efforts to get to the land of Truth even in that moment. It’s because they know only that will make a real difference.
Even if you participated in the meditation session, but couldn’t meditate as usual due to your bad condition, it’s already okay in itself. Just acknowledging that the current situation is also nothing but the picture in the mind world and not delaying meditation weakened your false mind and strengthened Truth !
Of course, you can give up participating in meditation session and take a break.
However, keep it in mind that your mind always knows exactly whether you skipped discarding mind even though you were able to, or if you skipped discarding mind because it was really impossible. Based on that, your mind will continue to play tricks on you. And accordingly, your mind will become easier to throw away or become more difficult to throw away.
Despite of your physical condition, the moment you decided to meditate, recognizing clearly that “This is just a picture in the mind world that doesn’t exist”, you have already won the overwhelming victory in the battle with your mind. Furthermore, escaping your human mind which is stress and pain and getting healthier will be the natural result of discarding mind.
Remind yourself once again that even this moment is also a picture in the mind world that does not exist. We wish you all the best in your meditation also today.
